Dutch digital duo Weval have launched their fourth studio album, ‘Chorophobia’, out now on Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint. The file arrives alongside a self-directed video for his or her newest single, ‘Open Up That Door ft. Kilimanjaro’. Watch right here.
The new album sees Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers embracing dancefloor dynamics extra immediately than ever earlier than, difficult the introspective mindset that formed earlier releases like 2019’s ‘The Weight’ and 2023’s ‘Remember’. Sparked by the invention of the time period “chorophobia” — the worry of dancing — the duo leaned into its irony and let go of long-held inhibitions.

Weval will help the album with a headline UK/EU tour this autumn, together with a cease at Hackney Church in London.
