Jolene Sound Room is a basement membership designed to appear to be a recording studio with a capability of round 200. It’s positioned in an artwork deco constructing referred to as Julia & Henry’s at 200 East Flagler and 2nd Street, which is alleged to have been utilized by Al Capone to retailer liquor throughout Prohibition. The doorways are open at weekends, 10 PM to 4 AM.
The Jolene model opened its first Sound Room in Brooklyn earlier this 12 months. The Miami membership will replicate the idea with retro styling, high-end cocktails and a cutting-edge audio system that may showcase native music tradition and Miami-based artists.
The venue was arrange by the house owners of Club Space Miami—Davide Danese, Coloma Kaboomsky and David Sinopoli—in collaboration with Gabriel Orta and Elad Zvi of Bar Lab, a nightlife consultancy.
The sound system was constructed by Phonic Technologies, the crew behind the system at New York golf equipment Cielo, Output and Outer Heaven. Miami-based producer DJ Ray has come on as music director of the brand new house.
