Modeselektor are the most recent artists to take the reins of the DJ-Kicks collection, delivering a wide-ranging 22-track combine set for launch on September twelfth, 2025, via !K7 Records. The compilation options the newly launched unique monitor ‘MEGA MEGA MEGA’, now out there on all main streaming platforms.
The compilation combines a compelling solid of artists, together with Kenyan experimentalist Slikback, UK rapper Little Simz, and Berlin techno figures Ben Klock and Fadi Mohem. Additional contributions come from Untold, Julien Bracht, Siriusmo, and others, underscoring Modeselektor’s ear for eclectic and genre-bending picks.
The Berlin-based duo, made up of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary, provide two unique new tracks as a part of their contribution, together with one that includes Paul St. Hilaire. Their choice merges beatless, atmospheric materials with tougher, club-leaning fare, reflecting every member’s stylistic leanings. As Bronsert explains, “We didn’t need to make a membership combine. I like membership music, so does Szary. But we didn’t need to give individuals the total package deal, so we tried to inform a narrative.
