Permaculture label continues its genre-blurring explorations with the discharge of ‘Back To The Beginning,’ a 7-track mini-album by Italian artist Lorenzo Dada, out now by way of the label’s sixth catalog entry.
Known for his previous works on Kompakt and Mule Musiq, Lorenzo Dada attracts from his early inspirations, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, and Radiohead’s experimental period to craft a meditative physique of labor steeped in ambient electronics and Balearic tones. Composed with analog gear, tape loops, and piano, the LP indicators a return to the artist’s artistic essence, formed throughout his research at Rome’s Conservatory of Santa Cecilia.
The venture consists of tracks like ‘Synthetic Jungle,’ ‘Seven Islas,’ and ‘No Church In The Wild,’ providing a reflective soundscape that spans emotive electronics and introspective textures.
