The second volume of Larry Heard‘s Vault Sessions series is coming out next month on Alleviated Records.
The series, which debuted in 2020 with a handful of Mr. Fingers off-cuts, finally returns in July with four more selections from the Chicago house legend’s archives.
This time, there’s a cut with Felica Williams from 2007 and a version of Ona King’s “Premonition of Lost Love,” remixed by Jordan Fields and Kevin Elliot in the mid-’90s for play at the important New Jersey club Zanzibar. There’s also a DJ Mel remix of the Mr. Fingers classic “Mystery Of Love” and an unreleased track called “Andromeda One.”
