Goldie pronounces new album and debuts single with dystopian music video

In a return to London Records after 30 years, digital music pioneer Goldie is about to launch a brand new album below his iconic Rufige Kru mission. The album, titled ‘Alpha Omega’, will debut on May sixteenth, 2025.

The announcement arrives with the discharge of a brand new single ‘Still The Same’, that includes CASISDEAD, the UK rap artist who not too long ago gained Best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act on the 2024 BRIT Awards. This marks his first enterprise into drum ‘n’ bass territory.

The single’s accompanying music video, directed by Elliott Gonzo, presents a dystopian narrative the place Goldie portrays an AI overlord pursued by CASISDEAD’s vigilante character. The manufacturing combines cutting-edge animation with digital manufacturing methods.

The upcoming 12-track album is a collaborative effort between Goldie and James Davidson (aka SubMotive). “It’s a reinvention,” Goldie explains. “We’ve gone again to the supply and extrapolated from there. I wished to create one thing that completely represents what this music is all about… and the place it’s going subsequent.”

Fans can catch Goldie stay at London’s Village Underground on April twenty ninth, 2025. In May, he’ll function artist in residence at Detroit’s Movement Festival 2025, earlier than bringing his stay present to UK festivals this summer time.
