The second Rave The Planet Parade is around the corner, and the official anthem has been released.
Following this year’s motto “Music Is The Answer”, the anthem was recorded by the father of the legendary Berlin Love Parade – Dr. Motte, together with Jam El Mar (Jam & Spoon) and Rave The Planet’s very own Ellen on vocals.“Music Is The Answer” celebrates the parade’s values with a heavy, signature Techno kickdrum, saturated rave stabs, captivating keys arpeggio and distorted vocals sitting atop a fat, oldschool, acid-flavoured yet state of the art bassline.
“We already had an anthem for the first Rave The Planet Parade in Berlin in 2022 and wanted to have an anthem again this year. This year the motto is “Music is the answer”. Because techno is a non-verbal dance culture. That’s why music is our language. With it we express, each in our own way, peace, love and tolerance. I simply asked Jam El Mar if he would like to produce the anthem for the Rave The Planet Parade 2023 with me. We then went to his studio in Frankfurt and later Ellen sang the lyrics to it. We would be very happy to hear the anthem on many trucks and DJ sets this year. Thank you to everyone who is helping to make the parade in Berlin possible again. Music is the answer!” – Dr Motte
A real big room and open-air smasher with an essential message: “Peace, Love, Tolerance”.All proceeds from the sales and streamings of this release go directly into Rave The Planet’s non-profit aims: to protect techno culture as an UNESCO Intangible Heritage and to keep up the spirit of the Berlin Love Parade with the new, big Rave The Planet Parade – again on July 8th, 2023 in Berlin.
